Materials Stock Control Operative

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Materials department.

Working within the team, you will be assisting with the smooth running of the materials department and ensuring that accurate stock levels are maintained at all times.

This full-time role includes:

  • Loading and unloading all goods using Forklift Truck
  • Keep stock system updated at all times
  • Put away all incoming deliveries of stock in correct location
  • Conduct a full stock take each month
  • Booking in of all goods onto stock system
  • Carry out any other ad hoc tasks reasonably requested by the Management/Supervisor team
  • Maintain a tidy and well organised warehouse at all times

 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Knowledge of materials handling and stores environment
  • Ability to work in a busy environment while delivering targets
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties on a day to day basis
  • Receptive to training and continuous improvement
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, as well as be a good team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Methodical worker
