In 2025, the Bakers Foundation has donated £175,838.34 to charities, community groups, and good causes, bringing our all-time total to £676,323.01.
At Bakers, giving back to our community is central to who we are. Through the Bakers Foundation, we support a wide range of organisations. From small grassroots initiatives to national charities, they’re chosen both by our leadership team and by our staff.
This year, 40 charities have received support, reflecting the breadth of our commitment to local community projects, health and wellbeing causes, youth initiatives, and specialist charities.
Long-standing partnerships
We are proud to continue supporting charities that we’ve built strong relationships with over many years, including Kids Inspire, SNAP, Billericay and Brentwood Foodbanks, and Aching Arms.
“Thank you so much for your generous donation which will help us continue providing vital mental health support for children, young people and families.”
“We are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support, which allows us to be there for families when they need us most.”
“Your donation will make a real difference to the families we support, ensuring nobody in our community goes hungry.”
This will really help us to continue to help and support bereaved families who have sadly lost a baby.”
Staff-nominated charities
Each year, we invite Bakers staff to nominate charities close to their hearts. In 2025, we were delighted to support 8 different charities nominated by colleagues. These included Peaceful Place, who support people with young-onset dementia and Freddie’s Ataxia Fund who provide walking and mobility aids to people living with Friedreich’s Ataxia.
“Your donation helps us provide life-changing support and friendship to those affected by dementia and their families.”
“With your donation we will be able to offer more resources that can help those with FA maintain their independence.”
New Charities for 2025
We also welcomed new organisations into the Bakers Foundation family this year. These include the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund and Brentwood & Community Volunteer Service.
“These funds will go directly towards supporting our SOS groups in Basildon and Colchester. Every Saturday morning, these groups bring together children with cancer and their families to make special memories.”
“We are extremely grateful for your support, helping us continue our work. This donation will help us connect more volunteers with local projects, strengthening community life across Brentwood.”

Reflecting on the 2025 Bakers Foundation Charity Donations
Steve Baker, Managing Director of Baker Labels, said:
“We’ve always believed that being a successful business goes hand in hand with being a good neighbour. Through the Bakers Foundation we’re proud to help local charities, schools, and community groups alongside national organisations that make a real difference to people’s lives. Seeing the impact these donations have each year is a privilege.”
Kirsty Dailly, Marketing Manager, added:
“The Bakers Foundation is powered by our staff as much as by the business. Many of the charities we’ve supported this year were nominated by team members who’ve seen first-hand the difference these organisations make. It’s a powerful reminder that giving is about connection as much as contribution.”
Looking ahead
As the Bakers Foundation grows, our goal remains the same: to support a wide range of causes that matter to our staff, customers, and local community, while making a lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most.
