We’re delighted to share that Bakers has been shortlisted for two categories in the Printweek Awards 2026, recognising both business innovation and overall company performance.
Bakers has been named a finalist for Printweek Company of the Year, and with a nod to our flexible packaging division BakPac, for Innovation of the Year – Business Strategy
A standout year for Bakers
These shortlists reflect a standout year for the business as a whole. Across Baker Labels and BakPac, we’ve invested heavily in technology, capacity and people, while continuing to grow responsibly and stay true to our values as an independent, family-run company.
Investment, innovation and sustainable growth
The Company of the Year shortlist recognises the strength of Bakers as a group – from consistent delivery for our trade label customers, to record-breaking growth in flexible packaging, to our ongoing commitment to sustainability, wellbeing and community support.
Innovation within the group: BakPac’s role
BakPac’s Innovation shortlist highlights a key part of that journey. Over the past year, BakPac has scaled its digital pouchmaking operation at pace, creating a UK-first, high-volume digital platform that supports both start-ups and established brands. That innovation has played a major role in strengthening the wider Bakers business and diversifying our offer.
People, wellbeing and community at the heart of Bakers
Above all, these shortlists are a reflection of our people. From the factory floor to the office, it’s the dedication, skill and teamwork across the business that continue to drive Bakers forward.
Why this shortlist matters
We’re incredibly proud to see that work recognised by Printweek and the wider industry, and we’d like to thank our customers, suppliers and partners for their continued support. Whatever the final results, being shortlisted alongside such strong businesses is an achievement in itself.
