The Bakers’ Dozen: Two New HP Indigo 6K+ Presses Installed at Baker Labels
It’s official – Baker Labels has reached a milestone worthy of its name. With the installation of two brand new HP Indigo 6K+ digital presses, we’ve now installed our 12th and 13th HP Indigo presses since 2006. A true Bakers’ dozen.
Over two busy weekends in October, our digital print department had a major makeover. The first Indigo 6K+ was delivered and installed between 17–19th October, replacing two of our HP Indigo 6900s that had served us well since 2017. Just a week later, the second 6K+ arrived to take the place of the HP Indigo 6K that joined the fleet in 2023.
This strategic upgrade marks another big step in Baker Labels’ continued commitment to staying at the forefront of digital print technology.
Smooth Installations, Big Transitions
The installations were carried out by HP Engineers, Gary Willats and Karina Ruiz. Working closely with our technical and digital teams ensured a seamless transition and minimal production downtime.
