We are a dynamic and innovative family run business, at the forefront of the label printing industry. Based in Brentwood, Essex our state-of-the-art production facility and open plan offices provide a fast paced and collaborative working environment. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Operator to join our team.
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Operator to ensure that our printed materials meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a thorough understanding of printing processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional products to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of printed materials to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues in real-time.
- Utilize various testing and measurement tools to assess colour accuracy, print clarity, and overall print quality.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures throughout the printing process.
- Document and report any deviations from quality standards, working closely with production and management teams to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain the calibration of printing equipment to ensure consistent and accurate results.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in quality control within the printing industry (not a necessity but nice to have)
- Knowledge of various printing processes, including digital printing.
- Familiarity with colour management and the ability to accurately assess colour consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle defects in printed materials.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey quality standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
