We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Forklift Truck Operator to join our materials conversion team at Baker Labels in Brentwood, Essex.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be helping to keep materials and goods moving smoothly through our busy warehouse and production facility. From receiving deliveries and loading vehicles to supporting our slitting operations, you’ll be an important part of the team that keeps everything running.

What You’ll Be Doing
Our warehouse plays an important role in supporting production and making sure materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there.
As our Warehouse Forklift Truck Operator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Receiving incoming goods and preparing outgoing deliveries.
- Loading and unloading goods vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Liaising with couriers and hauliers to coordinate collections and deliveries.
- Loading materials onto our slitting machines to support production.
- Handling and moving materials around the warehouse.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
- Working closely with colleagues to keep warehouse and production operations running smoothly.
It’s a varied, practical role that requires good organisation, attention to detail and a willingness to get stuck in.

Essential Requirements
- A valid counterbalance forklift truck licence.
- Experience working in a warehouse or materials handling environment.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out regular manual handling duties.
- A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach to work.
- A willingness to learn, develop new skills and embrace continuous improvement.
