BakPac is a leading player in the packaging industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality flexible packaging solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexible Packaging Pouch Operator to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
As a key member of the production team you will:
- Set up and operate pouch packaging machines in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure the production of high-quality flexible packaging pouches.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth operation and prevent downtime.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet our stringent quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues with the machinery to minimize disruptions to production.
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve production goals and deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills and experience required
- Proven experience as a Flexible Packaging Pouch Operator or similar role in the packaging industry.
- Knowledge of pouch packaging machinery and the ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot effectively.
- Understanding of quality control processes and the ability to perform routine checks on finished products.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality packaging materials.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to machine maintenance.
- Team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
- GCSE’s / A levels or equivalent; technical training or certification in packaging operations is a plus.
